Amish Potato Soup Recipe
2 tbsp Butter
3 cups Milk
1 Bay leaf
3 cups Chicken broth
2 lbs Potatoes, peeled and diced
6 slices Lean bacon, dice & fry
2 Onions, peeled and sliced
2 stalks Celery, chopped
2 Carrots, sliced
Salt and pepper
Melt butter in a large saucepan, add onions and sauté until soft. Add
remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Servings: 6-8.
