Strasburg, Pennsylvania
Strasburg, Pennsylvania should not be confused with Strasburg, Ohio, which is another small town located near Amish country. Lancaster County's Strasburg has a population of around 2800 people, and is named after the capital city of the French region Alsace (Strasbourg). Strasburg is a tourist haven with historic ambience and charming, old-time feel. This small Amish town is also known as "Train Town USA," due to its several railroad attractions.
Strasburg is home to a nearby farm where much of the film, "Witness" was filmed. Many unique shops, brick-paved roads, buggies, and older homes make Strasburg a must-see stop on one's Amish vacation. .
