Applecreek, Ohio Amish Country Video Tour
Founded in 1854, Apple Creek is named after the Little Sugar Creek and Jonathan Chapman, who is known as Johnny Appleseed. He travelled through Wayne County, planting apple trees on the banks of the creek. Thus, the town name was born, and the village still holds an annual festival in his honor called, Johnny Appleseed Days. You can see Amish conversing on the streets here.
