Walnut Creek, Ohio Amish Country Video Tour
Once home to several small coal mines, Walnut Creek, Ohio was settled in the early nineteenth century by an Amish man named Jonas Stutzman. The deeds for the Walnut Creek lands were signed by President Thomas Jefferson, which began the largest settlement of Amish people in the world. Today, Walnut Creek is a favorite for visitors, as it has several hotels, shops and Der Dutchman restaurant which over looks the fantastic Amish countryside.
